Huffman ISD Student Code of Conduct 2018-2019 (p. 61-62)
Because lice spread so easily, the district will need to exclude any student found to have live lice until after one treatment… After the treatment has been administered, including the removal of all nits, the parent and child must meet with the nurse the following day to ensure proper treatment has occurred. If the nurse determines that the child is both free of lice and nits, he/she will be allowed to return to school.
Notice will also be provided To parents of elementary school students in the affected classroom.
